Prayer

What an amazing privilege that we can speak to God and that He loves to speak back to us. At St. Peter's we want to join in with the Gods plans and purposes for us as individuals and as a church, for “Unless the Lord builds the house, its builders labour in vain.” (Psalm 127:1)

How awesome that we can talk to God about big world issues and the smaller things that are important to us personally, our health, friends and families etc. and then to give Him thanks and praise for all that He is doing.

Prayer is very much part of our Sunday Worship and personal prayer is available at the end of the service with the Prayer Ministry Team.

Our intercessory prayer meeting (Prayer Focus) is held every other week. We pray for the life of the church, our local area and community, for churches, towns and nations, in fact whatever we feel that God has put on our hearts!   Also our Prayer Team links closely with Focus Herts, a prayer initiative for Hertfordshire.
